HP 255 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

TO: Paul Takonin:

Hey Paul:

OK - Here's the platform and specs:

An HP 255 G6 with AMD A6-9220 Radeon R 4; 4G RAM.

It is in "As NEW' condition running Windows 10/1909.

SKU: 1LB16UT

BIOS: Insyde F.23, 4/13/18

SMBIOS: 3.0

Inbedded Controler: 27.32.

While preparing it for resale I did ALL the Updates from Microsoft's Servers.

Then, as usual, I accessed HP's site for this precise model and noted that there is a BIOS Update available.

The site shows the BIOS Update as: F.52 Rev A.

I downloaded and ran it. It ran perfectly and rebooted the system.

Then I RESTARTED again after the BIOS Update did it's own restart.

Went to "MSINFO.32" and noted that the BIOS STILL SHOWED F.23, 4/3/2018.

Shouldn't MSINFO.32 show me the Updated version number?

What am I not doing right here to move this laptop to the most recent BIOS?
