Hi!
I have an HP Probook 4730s, running Windows 7
When booting up the computer, the: Starting Windows logo appears for a second, then freezes, and a BSOD screen appears, with a: " BIOS is not fully ACPI compliant" error.
I have already tried all the options of the F8 menu, such as Repair computer, Safe mode...
I have also tried updating to the latest version of BIOS (found on the HP software and drivers page), using a USB. But when I insert the USB into the "broken" computer, the message: "The system bios update failed, continue to startup (with a 15 sec countdown timer)" appears.
I have also tried reinstalling Windows with a CD, but sadly the same situation happens.
The black and white screen and loading bar saying: "Windows is loading files" appears, and the second it advances to the: "Starting Windows" screen, it again shows the BSOD with the same error.
If you know anything about this situation, please reply.
Thanks in advance!
