I'm dissappointed to find out again that a 3000EUR workstation laptop has such basic issues even with the latest windows, driver and bios updates.

I found that after i sleep the laptop the performance because much more sluggish. Turns out that after sleep your sh*tty bios lowers the PL1 power limit from 50W to 30W..Thanks HP.

The solution is to either reboot or set your own power limit with the Intel XTU utility.

Then you can thermal throttle your i7-8850H all day as HP put the sh*ttiest fan/cooler/thermal paste combo to cool this CPU. Yeah! *i'm ironic if you didn't notice*

ps. your s*itty CPU fan started making permanent noices after only 6 months..good chinese fans i see from factory, even Lenovo puts better fans...you s*ck
