HP Laptop 15-dw1083wm Walmart
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The screen viewing angle of my HP Laptop 15-dw1083wm (from Walmart) was really bad out of the box.  After changing the display brightness to 100 percent in the Settings, the  bightness  varied top to bottom and had a very poor viewing angle.  The best angle was with the screen positioned at less than 90 degrees relative to the keyboard.  As the screen was tilted further back, the top of the screen would start to darken.  The screen color was also off.  It was not a clean white.

***Solution***: In Settings>Display, toggle the Night light "On" and then "Off" again, the display will reset and should now be working properly with a very wide  viewing angle and bright display!    This was definitely not intuitive!  I am so happy with this laptop now that I have figured this out!
