Hello!

 

I  have enabled "maximize battery life option" in BIOS so that the notebook would stop charging above 80%. However, the option doesn't seem to work; my battery is still being charged up to 100%. I use  HP 850 G5 with Q78 01.17.00 BIOS version.  The same problem occurred with Q78 01.15 BIOS version. Is there anything I can do to stop the charging above some percentage less than 100%? Such an option should work on my laptop, as HP advertises...
