I have had this computer up and running the battery claims it is only a year and 10 months and suddenly I have been told that my battery needs to be replaced. This has been something that seems to have been a come and go issue for a length of time now which I thought was due to the windows updates since I have had messages saying my battery was weak but then after some updates just fine. I went to unplug my computer today when the battery icon in the corner claimed it had charged up to about 85% and wham black screen. I plugged it back in and got a black screen message warning me about the battery being so low. I then did a battery test and have gotten the following: Battery check: Primary-Replace (47) Primary Logic State-Very Weak (70), Charge State-Blown Fuse (42) Failure ID 98U008-9R3An9-MFPXGK-C6CR03 Please help! I am starting to pretty much get sick of this it has issues and then it does not enough so that I am greatly considering buying a new laptop (NOT FROM HP BECAUSE I AM NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!)
I have had this question posted for a day and I am surprised that not one individual has asked or suggested anything. It is starting to make me wonder just how many people also have had this problem or if this post is even visible as it is supposed to be. Each time I have done the suggested action of going onto device manager and unistalling my battery even that is not working as it is supposed to. I have done this in the past and it did what videos say it should however that is no longer the case. I am greatly starting to wonder just how much of this is not the result of HP not keeping up to date with even windows update considering the version of windows is not even listed as a choice for my computer currently.
