Operating System: Linux

Can anybody tel me how he was successful in updating the bios and what is the best way to go? I have read the other posts but what worked?

Do I need to create a boot-able LOSEDOWS USB drive and will it have al the correct system file's if I do that on another Brand Laptop?

@@holes exploited this bios. So I really need to fix this. Hp stopt Linux support, probs under cartel pressure.
