Product: Chromebook 11 G7 EE
Operating System: Chrome OS

Hi my chromebook 11 g7 stays black on start up. There is a slight black flash on startup  sometimes but it stays black, and sometimes a little audible electronic noise.

I've ried a hard reset several times but everything stays black. Tried charging for 12 hours and same results. When plugged in the power led is solid white.

With no working display I don't think I can do a system recovery? Is there anything else to try before going to a repair shop? Is it worth trying to remove the battery myself? 

Any help appreciated
