Microsoft Windows 10 in S Mode

The speaker on the right side of my laptop sounds "blown". The sound coming from that speaker has a slight static/vibration sound.  It is most noticeable on websites with a single human voice.  All audio tests with HP "pass", but these tests only confirm whether or not sound is coming from the speaker, not the quality of the sound.  It is difficult to say whether it is the speaker itself or the design of the laptop body; but it is definitely a problem somewhere.  All audio drivers have been updated.  Frustrating that there isn't a place to bring the laptop while under warranty (without having to pay) to have someone listen to it.  An HP tech running diagnostic tests remotely is not going to be able to hear the distortion.  I may bring it back to Best Buy, though I will probably have to pay as I didn't purchase any extended warranty, just to confirm that there is an issue so that I can go back to HP with something more concrete than just my opinion.

I'd be curious to see if anyone else has had the same issue (though from past post I know there are) and if they have found a solution.  It may be that is is just an inferior design.
