HP Chromebook - 14-ca050sa
Chrome OS

Hello, I've just bought a brand new HP Chromebook 14 and haven't had any problems pairing and connecting bluetooth devices such as my standalone keyboard or headphones - until I try and plug in my iPhone to one of the USB ports to charge it.

At that point, bluetooth is always automatically disabled in the Chrome OS settings (it becomes greyed out, so I can't switch it back on), so obviously any blutooth devices are disconnected. Also my wireless mouse, which works via a nano USB receiver plugged into the other USB port, stops working completely. When I remove the iPhone cable from the Chromebook, the mouse starts working again and bluetooth is automatically re-enabled.

This happens every time, regardless of which USB port I plug the iphone into, and regardless of whether I select 'Allow' or 'Don't allow' on my iPhone when asked whether this device (the Chromebook) can access my phone's pitures and videos. The personal hotspot on my phone is turned off.

Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to rectify it? Cheers!
