Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I have a HP ENVY x360 M6 Convertible that displays the Boot Device Not Found error.  I have performed the BIOS system configurations by enabling and disenabling boot options and legacy support and was unable to resolve.  Took the laptop to a local computer repair business and they indicated the laptop will not boot and confirmed the drive is not dead.  They believe the issue is board related as the system will not detect any drive put into it.

Is replacing the motherboard the only option or is there any other option to try besides just purchasing a new laptop?  This laptop was purchased in 2016 and warranty expired in 2017

Thanks
