HP Probook 440 G8
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi! I got a brand new HP Probook 440 G8

These are specific problems I am experiencing:

  • Screen freezes
  • randomly shuts down
  • blacks out screen when idle for 1 minute (had to restart everytime)
  • randomly blacks out screen with keyboard lights on
  • blue screen with line in the middle but LCD screen is not damaged
  • does not recognize on some devices - mouse and headset (will work for a few minutes then it won't be detected)
  • When I shut down, the keyboard lights will stay on

Sleep mode is disabled. All I do is do a long press for my laptop to restart again. We ran a diagnostic test twice already and it looks normal and it passed everything. 3 IT service desks from my company checked it remotely and they cannot figure it out.  This is a company laptop and I don't know what to say to the IT and the admin for them to allow me to replace this one since all diagnostic tests are normal. It keeps happening everytime. Thank you in advance
