I need some help.

I put my laptop into my car and when I arrived  I found that a stone had lodged itself between the keyboard and the screen, subsequently cracking it from the bottom right to the top left of the screen.

The screen works absolutely fine, however the Touchscreen/Digitizer has gone mad and won't respond when I tap on it, or it'll randomly click elsewhere when I don't want it to.

It has been impossible to get hold of anyone to speak to with regards of how to replace the digitizer, all computer shops I've spoken to have said it's too complex for them to do/they don't know how to.

As the laptop itself is now 2 months out of warranty, this is incredibly frustrating as that was the main selling point on why I bought this specific one, and now the main reason I got it, doesn't work and there seems to be no fix or response from HP.

What can I do from here and how can I get my touchscreen back/digitizer replaced?

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Harry
