Below is a question I posted 1-21-2021 

I have not heard from a support agent "helped" me and I accepted the solution. However my problem is not solved. It seems like other notebook owners are having a similar problem. I have not dropped my notebook but the left hinge has broken.  It seems like a product defect that should have been recalled!

 

Hello everyone, I have an HP laptop that has cracked on the upper left corner. The hinge has also broken and I have to leave the lid open. I have not dropped the laptop and it seems that other people have posted this same issue. What can be done if it is not under warranty. This really sounds like a product defect.
