HP EliteBook Folio 9470m
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Evrybody,

I have a problem with my laptop folio 9470m. When I switch on, I always get an error regarding CMOS (502). Therefore, I thought that the CMOS battery was empty. Then I ordered a new CMOS battery from HP Store and I installed it in my laptop. But the problem still exists. I think the flaw is somewhere else instead of the CMOS battery. One more hint: If I remove the CMOS battery and the battery and then reinstall it, the computer will automatically start again, the error regarding CMOS(502) will be displayed and the computer will restart and work without any problems. But as soon as I put it in power-saving mode, it doesn't start anymore and I have to remove the buffer battery and the battery for a short time. Can someone help me find out where the problem lies? The CMOS battery does not determine. Maybe I need to change another hardware part.

Thanks and best regards

Oli
