Product: EliteBook 840 G2

Hi, I have a problem with my EliteBook 840 G2. The RTC battery connector was disconnected (and I reconnected it) and now when I start Linux (which is the only OS I have) the laptop restarts on its own shortly after turning on. I suspect it is a BIOS issue as it threw me CMOS checksum invalid, CMOS reset (502) error. Thanks in advance
