Product: Chromebook 11 G5 EE
Operating System: Chrome OS
I'm the IT Support for all the Chromebooks at a school that I work at. Recently I've had many students come to me saying that their Chromebook only works when plugged in and that the battery icon has disappeared from the Chrome OS. When I've opened the Chromebook I've noticed that the battery has come loose a little bit but enough that the motherboard isn't recognizing it anymore. To fix it I just push it back in. The problem is that it keeps happening over and over even to the same ones I've already fixed. I've tried using some electrical tape on it but that isn't helping. Need some help on what could possibly be going on here and how to resolve it.
