Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Laptop sees folders on android (6.0.1) smart phone but sometimes sees them as empty when they are not.

I have a movie stored on my phone that I would like to move/copy to the laptop HDD so we can watch it on our TV,

near as I can tell the path should be:  Z981/phone/storage/emulated/0/movies, can't remember how I've done it in the past...

the laptop sees Z981/phone/movies but sez movies folder is empty.

Kinda almost remember finding the storage folder and then copying movie to laptop, but damned if I can figujre out how to find the storage folder (usin the laptop)..

Almost bought a HDMI  to usb-c cable to see if my zte zmax (z981) could send video& audio to the tv.  Balked at the price, which was around $25 because I wasn't able to determine if the phone could do that, much less how to do it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanx fer takin the time to read this

Take care,

Roger
