Product: HP Spectre x360 Convertible 13-ae0xx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
I recently bought and replaced my computer battery because it was consistently dying off the charger and I received many black screen messages about poor battery performance.
I successfully replaced the battery but now the computer won't recognize the new battery, and instead of reading the battery level it only says "no battery present", even though the battery is plugged in correctly and the computer is functioning off of the charging cord. Is there a way to force the computer to recognize the new battery and give me the power level?
