HP Elitebook 850 G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I am trying to connect my HP Elitebook 850 G6 to Apple Thunderbolt Display.
For that purpose I am using an TB3 to TB adapter TBT3TBTADAP.
The problem is that my display is not detected as thunderbolt device. Since it is non certified thunderbolt device I assume that this may be the cause.
I found that there is a workaround for that problem but only for HP Spectre of HP Ultrabook laptops: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03725328.
Can similar workaround be applied to HP Elitebook 850 G6?

Thank you for your answer.
