I have a 3COM ADSL router modem 3CRWDR100A-72 since long time and working fine, I did a firmware upgrade but it seems something went wrong. When I try to access the modem portal through 192.168.1.1 the browers gives "This site cann't be reached. http://192.168.1.1/ is unreachable"
When I try to check CMD command line "IPconfig" it gives:
Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::d91f:32b:2d42:ddf3%11
Autoconfiguration IPv4 Address. . : 169.254.221.243
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.0.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :
I tried the RESET button from the back (press and hold for 5 sec), but nothing changed
for me it looks like the memory had been cleared. So I wonder how I can upload the firmware once more from PC directly into the modem through RJ45 connection, or how to access it to solve this issue
thanks
