Hello

 

I have a few hundred laptops where I need to disable the "Drivelock Password on restart" option.

So I extracted the configuration via the HP Bios Configuration utility and re-imported the configuration with the modified file.

Only despite a message confirming the modification, the option remains checked. Below is the message :


<SETTING changeStatus="pass" name=Drivelock Password on restart" reason="Success" returnCode="0">

               <OLDVALUE>< ![CDATA[Enable]]></OLDVALUE>

               <NEWVALUE>< ![CDATA[Disable]]></NEWVALUE>

For information the result is the same whether the Drivelock password is configured or not.

I also tested the modification of another option, there it works.
