Product: HP 15-au010wm
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dotted vertical lines have suddenly started to display on the right corner of the screen. Tried capturing a screenshot, the line is not displayed. It gets displayed at the start of the Laptop when HP Logo is shown.

 

Is this a hardware issue or a driver issue? Any troubleshooting steps or fixes will be appreciated.

 

Laptop Configuration

HP Pavilion

6th gen Intel i7-6500U processor

15.6" diagonal HD display

12GB System Memory

1TB Hard Drive

NVIDIA GeForce 940Mx 2GB Display card
