Chromebook 14A G5
Chrome OS

We have purchased a few Chromebook Enterprise 14A G5 all equipped with AMD and Radeon graphics.
Product Number: 8ZQ87UT#ABA (is one of the ones we bought, they are all exactly the same as this).

This is the quick overview link:
https://www8.hp.com/h20195/v2/GetPDF.aspx/c06255241.pdf

You can see there are 2x:
USB Type-C™ 3.1 Gen1 port (Supports Power Delivery +Display Port™)
One on the left, one on the right. Both support Display Port. Supposedly.
We purchased these with HP Z22N Monitors which come with Display Port Cables.

Each Chromebook is to have two HP Z22N Monitors attached to it.
We purchased two adapters (USB-C to Display Port with Power Delivery) shown here:
IMG_20200508_151911.jpg

One of the adapters has the Chromebook power and Monitor #1 Display Port attached, the other has only Monitor #2 Display Port.
According to the specs provided from HP, both of the USB-C ports are:
"USB Type-C™ 3.1 Gen1 port (Supports Power Delivery +Display Port™)"
Which means, they both support Power Delivery and they both support Display Port, that's what it says in all of the sales literature and in all of the HP manuals.
YET >> the Chromebook only works with ONE monitor.
The 2nd monitor shows "no signal".
We have swapped ports, tested the monitors, tested each adapter independently, all components work, both monitors work, both ports work, but they do not work simultaneously. Which is in conflict to what is advertised.
Is there a fix for this? A different adapter? A different cable? HDMI instead of Display Port?
All we want is 2x monitors - and the seller was under the impression that is what we were buying (BuyVPC.com which is an authorized HP partner).
It doesn't work so far. We're really hoping there is a fix?
I do truly look forward to any help I can get on this, thank you in advance!!
