HP 14-cf200030
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi all,

Not sure if anyone has found this issue before, I've had a batch of HP 14-cf2000 notebooks delivered to my workplace, and in order to set them up on our network, they have to be reimaged from Windows 10 Home S (20H2) to Windows 10 Enterprise (1809-latest version available). All other drivers install as expected, however the ELAN touchpad does not appear on Device Manager and doesn't activate. I've tried installing ELAN drivers from HP website but they feedback as not compatible, I've tried installing ELAN drivers from an older model of the HP 14 notebook, and these error saying Device Not Connected. My guess is either the motherboard drivers can't find the trackpad, or the ELAN drivers are incompatible.

Is it possible that either the MB drivers or the ELAN touchpad drivers needed for this model are incompatible with Windows 10 Enterprise/version 1809? or has anyone found a way round this?

Many thanks if anyone has any advice on this issue!
