Since I bought my computer I have found that the lid's magnets (2 on the screen, 2 in the base near touchpad) that hold it closed work fine on the left side and in the middle (when flipped to tablet mode), but the right side didn't stick closed.  It wasn't a huge issue since the lid does stay closed but the lack of right side magnets allows the screen to wobble open on that side.

A few months later I opened the laptop to replace a ram card and found that there are no magnets present on the right side in the base to connect to those in the screen.  There are empty "slots" for magnets the same size as those on the left side.

I would think that there are supposed to be some if there is a location specifically for them.  I was wandering if this is something that can ordered form HP or if there is a better solution than magnetic tape or small cube magnets ( both of which are generally weaker than the base magnets ).
