My laptop won't turn on at all. I have tested with a known good battery and without the battery using only a known good power cable. (I have two of these laptops, so I can test these parts between the two.)

The bad laptop won't turn on, no matter what the power supply. If I remove the battery and the power cable, and then plug the power cable back in, sometimes the power light will turn on blue for a few seconds, then go off. At all other times the light is off.

I have done the power reset by removing the battery and power cable and holding down the power button for 20-30 seconds with no luck. I have also tested normal function of the power button and it seems ok as well.

Any assistance would be helpful.

Thanks,
