Product: EliteBook 8470p
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

The product number from HP Support Assistant is D0M57UC#ABA I tried searching driver support for that, it ignored the #ABA and claimed nothing could be found. Same for the serial number. Both copied and pasted from the HP program. (Dell has HP bested on this. Their support site knows EVERY Service Tag they've put on a Dell computer.)

 

I've already tried sp83846.exe [b]It does not work on this laptop.[/b]

 

I just want a driver for the accelerometer *that works*, or at least pretends to work so the error in Device Manager goes away.

 

And please, if there is a functioning driver and 3D Driveguard program, [b]update the product's support page![/b] HP does that for the BIOS so it should be no more effort to do likewise to keep other downloads up to date for as long as HP continues to support Windows 10 on this system.
