Product: Elitebook 840 G5
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am facing very strange issue with my office laptop Elitebook 840 G5. I use dual monitors using HDMI port. I don't find any problems while using any software e.g. AutoCAD, Navisworks etc on dual extended monitor. However, when I open Excel and transfer the excel file to extended/external monitor, it starts flickering and freezes. Sometimes the excel just crashes and I lose all my work if I haven't saved the file already. 

My IT person has even changed my laptop with another similar model but the problem still persists. 

This problem only seems to be happening in 840 G5 or with Windows 10 because an older version of windows on older laptop doesn't seem to have the similar problem. So i am suspecting the issue with either the hardware or with operating system. 

Anyone providing the "Fix" to this problem, I would be so grateful.
