Product: Elitebook 8540p

I would like to ask for some help on Identifying ram for this board as I can't find any specs for this board. I tried asking hp chat but they won't help and suggest I call well I did and no answer whatsoever. So I came here hoping I could get some help.

 

Now I did purchase some ram thinking it would work with the dual-core board I have now But I don't think it will so I figured it will on the Quad-Core system board. The specs for the ram I bought are :

 

Brand:Crucial

16gb 2x8gb

DDR3 1600 SODIMM
