Dear all, need your assistance:

When I switched on my notebook this morning I got the following message:

8570W_1.jpg

Afterwards it is jumping to a login screen

8570W_2.jpg

As far as I know I have never set a BIOS password but have tried my usual passwords to no success:

8570W_3.jpg

It is a HP Elitebook 8570W i7-3820QM with FHD, 32GB RAM, M2. SSD and 2 HDDs, updated to last available firmware.

For resetting the password one could request a SMC.bin file generated by HP according to the serial number and for programming the Product Information there is also a tool from HP.

But I am not able to boot from any device including USB drive.

Thankful for any hints, I am stil lvery happy with this machine!

Jens
