Elitebook 850 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This issue of the fan that keeps running continuously has been addressed many times but I have'nt seen a solution to my particular problem.

In short, the fan of one of my my Elitebook 850 G3 i7 16 gb is working almost all the time (it occasionnaly stops for a few minutes when on battery) and this even when the PC and thus the processor are completely cold. It is not running loud but it is ennoying.

Bios is uptodate (1.51) and well configured (Fan always while on DC is not  checked). Fan is clean, no dust (but I haven't removed the fan to see the exhaust side). The Task Manager information is OK,  processir, disk usage very low.

Power options are standard (just did a Windows 10 reinstallation). I have other Elitebooks 850 G3PC's that do not have that problem.

Should I change the fan and the heat sink ? Or is there another solution.  Perhaps a  sensor is giving a wrong message ?

Or the Intel i7 is tired ?

Thanks for your input !
