Elitebook series for HP, Latitude for Dell etc

One thing I've learned about buying laptops from any company is buying their Enterprise machines, aka the Elitebook series for HP, Latitude for Dell, etc. They aren't going to have gimmicks or be cheap, but they will as a general rule be more durable, and much easier to fix and find parts for if they do break. Companies often have service contracts with manufacturers, and every time a machine breaks, they either get parts or send the machine to the manufacturer. It's not in their best interest to cheap out, both because it costs money for the manufacturer, and they may lose the contract when it's time to renew if they were unreliable to the company. And these contracts last a few years. Most consumers can buy these same machines, but most simply don't because they aren't on the floor at best buy and aren't cheap. But this is one of the cases where you do get what you pay for. For their consumer machines? Once it's past the warranty, they don't care if the machine breaks down. You either buy parts that may no longer be available or buy a new one.
