I have made multiple unsuccessful attempts in connecting to the DP Dell P2214Hb monitors.

  • using laptop HDMI port and HDMI-DP cable
  • using Anker PowerExpand Elite 13-in-1 downstream USB C port with dual DP adapter and DP cables
  • using Anker PowerExpand Elite 13-in-1 downstream USB C port with dual HDMI adapter and HMDI-DP cables

I can connect to a HDMI monitor either by a direct connection with the laptop or through the Anker docking station HDMI port.

My need is to connect to the DP Dell P2114Hb monitors. All connections are tight. Power is made to the DP monitors. No signal is coming through. Diagnostics on the monitors shows they are working. I've tried multiple scenarios of booting to recognize the monitors without success. Windows 10 "detect display" in the settings does not show a second monitor. Intel display drivers and BIOS are current per the HP Assistant.

Laptop operates fine at work connected through a HP Thunderbolt 3 docking station with 2 DP Dell monitors using DP -DP cable connections.
