HP Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

It appears that on my new HP Envy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 with Max-Q Design is not being actively used.  When monitoring the system via the Task Manager, when I am running a utility that can make use of a GPU for increased computational thruput - PTGui Pro, DXO Raw Prime, etc. the GPU0 - the Intel UHD Graphics chip is used - even if the utility is directed to use the GPU1 - which is the RTX 2060.

Why is the system not already setup to have the 2060 enabled, as opposed to defaulting to the UHD Graphics processor?  Why is there not a method for the user to designate the primary graphics processor to use?  One very specific indicator, is that the  shared graphics memory allocated to GPU0 is always in use and the shared graphics memory allocated to GPU1 is never allocated or in use.

I would suggest that if you are going to design, build, market and sell these products - you provide a way for users to actually utilize these performance capabilities - rather than just let them sit there doing nothing.
