EliteBook 820 G3
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since end of test period for the pre-installed Foxit PhantomPDF Express für HP on my EliteBook and downgrade from business to the free version sometimes there are error messages for example error message invalid memory access in DDE Server Window at shutdown or a popup "Foxit PhantomPDF Updater" with some strange (chinese?) characters. As I can see, I have the "latest" version 6.0.25.1029 installed - the version I can see on the support page for my notebook.

Is there a way to repair the software or should I just uninstall it and replace it with an up to date (free) pdf reader?
