HP Pavilion Core i5 9th Gen - 15-bc504TX Gaming Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

--laptop details here :https://www.flipkart.com/hp-pavilion-core-i5-9th-gen-8-gb-1-tb-hdd-windows-10-home-4-gb-graphics-nvi...

i face extreme lag while playing games like fortnite and apex legends and GTA V but my cpu and gpu utilization is ~85% however my disk usage is always maxed out at 100% and the game lags to a point where instead of multiple frames in a second it takes multiple seconds for a frame 😕 . I did all the troubleshooting steps on the internet (cleanup, defrag, etc) yet nothing works. Games that are small like roblox run without a sweat on high graphics but fortnite on dx 11 on low graphics lags a lot in battle royale but in creative I get 60 fps(limited at 60 fps).In performance mode most structures are either missing or very low quality(trees are green blobs floating in air for some reason). I also noticed that my virtual ram was on auto and it went up to 12GB, so i turned it down yet games still lag at only 4 GB virtual ram. After turning it down to 2 fortnite performs better and apex crashes due to memory errors before i even go to the lobby. HP support said they can't help they asked me to reset my laptop which didn't help either. I can't buy a new SSD/HDD or get more ram because of the pandemic(service center is too far away and I have online classes)
