EliteBook x360

Hi There,

I have an EliteBook x360.  I want to boot from a USB drive.  I shutdown the system and then restart.  I tap the F9 key repeatedly until the boot menu shows up.  The problem is the boot menu is blank so I have no way of selecting the desired boot device.  This was working normally before but it stopped working after I rearranged the boot order.

I can boot from the USB drive if I boot to windows and then do a recovery boot.  But this is a pain because I have to wait for windows to boot every time I want to use the USB drive.

Any ideas how to fix the F9 boot menu?
