The fan on my laptop is sometimes extremely loud. This only started recently, and I have changed nothing in regards to my laptop recently before the noise started. I have already done the following: updated bios, used C-Cleaner to clean up my pc, used an air can to remove dust, checked to make sure my laptop isn't overheating, put my laptop on a cooling rack to ensure proper airflow, checked to make sure there are no hardware or software issues, set all power settings to the lowest possible, and unplugged everything (including charger).

Unfortunately none of this has worked. I saw that this was a common issue with HP laptops (in particular the same type that I have), but I tried all of the suggestions (sans changing the CPU frequency, and this doesn't appear to be possible anymore on windows 10).

Is there any way to quiet the fan noise? Thanks.
