Product: HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I turned my laptop on today, and the fan has started making very strange noises. I tried to access the fan by taking the screws out of the back, but there was no way for me to remove the case, which leads me to wonder why they are there in the first place.
