Hi everyone,

I plan to install a SSD in a caddy in place of the actual DVD player, but I read that the SATA should be set as AHCI.

Actually I’m in IDE, and I don’t know how to change it, I don’t have the option in my bios (it’s very light), and the official fix using regedit doesn’t work by me because I don’t habe the msahci or storahci key in it, to change the value.

I got a modifies bios (wph file), but I don’t know how am I supposed to flash, I tried so many ways but it didn’t work ...

It’s know 1 week I’m on this problem, I read hundreds of pages concerning this kind of problem but can’t find a solution ... I think there is one if they sell caddys designed specially for it ...

Can somebody help me ? 🙂
