G5 Dock
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an elitebook 840 with a G5 USB-C dock.  I have two Dell monitors that I've connected with displayport to DVI adapters.  One is 1280x1024 and works fine.  The other is 1680x1050, but the recommended display resolution is 1280x1024.  If I choose 1680x1050 the text is blurry and the screen is not filled horizontally.  If I choose 1920x1080 the screen is filled in horizontally, but the text is still burry.  The monitor OSD reports 1920x1080 no matter what resolution I choose in Windows.

The problem is the same if I use an HDMI to DVI cable from the dock, but if I connect directly to the laptop with an HDMI to DVI cable it works fine at 1680x1050 and looks good.

I switched the displayport adapters, but nothing changed.

I upgraded the G5 firmware and all the drivers on the laptop.

Any suggestions?
