I've recently reinstalled Windows 10 on my computer, but I've found that the glidepoint option for ALPS touchpads isn't working anymore. Precision touchpad works fine, but whenever I switch to glidepoint, the touchpad wont' respond anymore (other than turning on and off the light on the top left). I read here (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04986805) that this might be caused by the Intel I/O I2C drivers not being installed when reinstalling the operating system. Unfortunately, the links there are either broken or outdated, and installing their up-to-date alternatives (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25601/Intel-Serial-IO-Driver-for-Windows-10 for I2C and versions 8.2206.1717.162 and 8.2206.1717.161 for the ALPS touchpad driver) hasn't resolved the issue.
