I have been having problems getting my USB ports to work with Windows XP Mode. Basically, when in Windows XP Mode, when I attempt to attach my USB Device it fails to attach providing an error. I have learnt that USB 3.0 is not compatible with Windows XP and therefore I need to switch my USB 3.0 to work as a USB 2.0 within the BIOS Settings by setting the xHCI Mode set to Auto or Smart Auto, via this webpage below:
https://www.intel.co.za/content/www/za/en/support/articles/000005506/software/chipset-software.html
I have entered the BIOS settings by pressing ESC at start-up however when I look through the menu's of the BIOS I cannot find the xHCI setting.
Can I have some assistance in finding how to change this setting on my laptop?
