HP Notebook - 15
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Notebook - 15-da0595sa Laptop for a few years now, and my current issue is with my HDD. Using my laptop is very difficult and applications will crash regularly and even when the laptop is idling it always freezes or becomes unresponsive. Checking Task Manager and Resource Manager shows my HDD running at 100% constantly, and after some research i can confidently say this is the issue.  Using the laptop is virtually impossible with it being unresponsive every time i try to load or complete an action. I had to send it back to HP under warranty as I was faced with - No Operating System found error, in which they replaced my HDD.  Googling the issue result is lots of solutions, which I have tried but nothing has seemed to work. I am no longer under warranty however checking the installed HDD I can see it is a Toshiba MQ04ABF100. Comparing this to the original HDD - a Intel Optane+932GBHDD, I am at a considerable loss in both Read and Write speeds. I know the replacement is not like for like, but is the poor read / write speeds my issue with 100% disk. If so what are my options - Install a new HDD?
