Product: HP Envy x360 ay-0012nl
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hello,
I tried in every way too set up HDR10 and 10 bit color with my new external monitor connected to the laptop (HP Envy x360 ay-0012nl).
The monitor is a Samsung Smart Monitor M7, which supports 4k60 HDR10 10bit. It displays 4k HDR content when using the integrated YouTube, Netflix and Amazon Prime apps, but does not when connecting the laptop.
I've connected them via a USB-C cable (USB 3.1 Gen. 1 - capable of transferring up to 5 Gbps). However, the laptop doesn't recognize the monitor's HDR capabilities, even though every driver and software is up to date.
Any suggestions?
