Product: HP 2013 UltraSlim Docking Station
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have 3 HP laptops and the newest one does not work with the HP 2013 UltraSlim Docking Station - although i've seen posts here that say it should ..

Model is HSTNN-IX10

Monitor is Samsung SyncMAster 2333sw - connected DVI > DP

 

  • elitebook 9470m works fine
  • elitebook 840 G4 works fine
  • elitebook 840 G6 - Monitor connected to DP does not turn on - all other connectivity seems to work OK 

How do i find out what firmware the Ultraslim dock is using ? i've tried to update with :

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp79001-79500/sp79015.exe

 

but i get the following : "Can not find Synaptics MST DP hub IC"
