Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I've got a HP 250 G4 Notebook
board ID: 80C1
P/N M9S89EA#ABZ
S.O. Windows 10 Home 64 bit (rel. 1803)
Original BIOS: F.21

HP Support Assistant has notified me with a BIOS update to F.27 (sp88923.exe) version, to mitigate Intel CPUs vulnerabilities.
I've been trying ALL the ways to update to the newest F.27 BIOS, but despite any attempt, I've not been able to do such update. Everything seemed to be fine until reboot, but after reboot the new BIOS was never flashed and on next reboot HP Support Assistant still proposed the BIOS update to F.27 (...and indeed by checking in the BIOS, the F.21 version was still there...)
After many searches and attempts I've determined that the BIOS update on HP machines can't happen if the original "Recovery Partition" is not present into the HDD (mine got Windows 10 64bit installed from scratch, since the previous owner had installed Windows 10 32bit and deleted the original Recovery Partition...a real mess...).
Since the lack of the original Recovery Partition, I found out that the HP utility "4-1 USB diagnostic" (sp92018.exe) could do the job...and so it was....BIOS updated with the HP 4-1 USB key , BUT instead of the version F.27, I found an odd F.1F version flashed into my BIOS (it was automatically flashed by the USB key after pressing "Windows + B" keys on power on....
Is that version somehow equivalent to the official F.27 version? HP Support Assistant still pops the BIOS update to F.27...)
The laptop seems to be working flawlessly, but I'm a bit confused...maybe I got that version installed because the original Recovery Partition was missing?
Any suggestion?
Thank you all very much.
