Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have upgraded the memory of this notebook from 2 to 4 Gb, by putting in the right memory module. But now I have problems with booting of the system in this way:

When the system is booting, I can do everything what it has to do. W10 start normaly and I can also get into the bios without any problem. I have also done the system and memory test without any problems.

But when I shut down the system, system is off, no screen, no led's.

When I want to do the next start, I press the power button. The led of the power starts blinking slowly and also the WiFi led in orange. For the rest nothing happens. I can also not stop this situation by pushing the power button.

To solve this situation, I take out the battery, take out (or put in) the second memory module, put in the battery and I can normaly start the system. It boots the hardware and after that W10 without any problem, till I switch the machine off and then I have to change the memory size again and so on.

I have also notices that when I can start the system after a memory change, I press the power button. The light goes on, goes off and after a few seconds the light goes on and starts the system.

It seems that the bios does accept only the memory after a change in size since the last time.

I have done the hard reset, I have taken out the battery for the bios, I have upgraded the bios to version F.39, but nothing helps.

Does anyone has suggestions?

Greetings, Frans
