Ever since I've been to WinTel PCs I've always been using wired-mice.

I don't like wireless mice's hefty and humble feeling. More, they consume one USB port for their receivers.

However I'd like to start using Bluetooh mouse since it does not require a USB port.

There are some Bluetooth mice currently on the market which require 2 pcs. of AAA sized batteries (UM4, R03); which are lighter than AA (UM3, R6) sized batteries.

I'm in need of suggestions:

1- Are there any Bluetooth mice, which require only one AAA sized battery; but with a size of a regular mouse, not a tiny one?

2- What are your experiences with Bluetooth mice in Windows and with HP notebooks, esp. 6510b? Pls take into consideration that I don't favour hefty feeling of wireless mice.

3- Is it a straightforward process in BSD or popular Linux distributions to:

--a- enable Bluetooth radio and device?

--b- establish communication with and use Bluetooth mouse smoothly, once Bluetooth is enabled?

I believe you empathise my needs. I look forward to hear your experience and suggestions...
